The Easiest Baked Feta Dip with Tomatoes and Basil Recipe

This baked feta dip with tomatoes and basil is creamy, delicious and super easy to make. It's warm, comforting and looks fancy with minimal effort and ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Block Feta Cheese
  • 1 Pint Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Basil chopped
  • Italian Seasoning (to taste)
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Equipment

  • 1 8x10 inch baking dish (or smaller)
  • 1/4 Measuring cup
  • Fork
  • spatula

Instructions
 

  1. Pour 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil into the baking dish.
  2. Place feta block in the center of the dish. Flip several times to coat with EVOO.
  3. Add tomatoes around the feta. Stir several times to coat with EVOO.
  4. Sprinkle salt, pepper & Italian seasoning.
  5. Bake on 400 for 25 minutes or until bubbly. With about 10 minutes to go, add chopped basil to the top and return to oven.
  6. When baked, pull from oven and smash unburst tomatoes with the back of a fork or spatual and stir to combine.

Notes

*Stir with a spatula until you reach your desired consistency. I prefer my dip creamy, but if you prefer a less creamy texture, skip smashing the tomatoes completely and just give it a quick stir or two. Enjoy!
