- Pour 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil into the baking dish.
- Place feta block in the center of the dish. Flip several times to coat with EVOO.
- Add tomatoes around the feta. Stir several times to coat with EVOO.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper & Italian seasoning.
- Bake on 400 for 25 minutes or until bubbly. With about 10 minutes to go, add chopped basil to the top and return to oven.
- When baked, pull from oven and smash unburst tomatoes with the back of a fork or spatual and stir to combine.
Notes
*Stir with a spatula until you reach your desired consistency. I prefer my dip creamy, but if you prefer a less creamy texture, skip smashing the tomatoes completely and just give it a quick stir or two. Enjoy!
