Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Sweet Potatoes Waffle Fries (we use Alexia brand)
  • 1 Jar Pepper Jelly (we like Trader Joe's)
  • 1 Container Cream Cheese
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • Sea Salt (to taste)

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • Tongs
  • Large spoon or ice cream scoop
  • Small bowl for dipping sauce
  • Serving Platter

Instructions

  1. Place your sweet potato fries evenly on a large baking sheet.
  2. Spritz with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  3. According to the directions on the package, bake your sweet potato fries in the oven or air fryer, flipping, spritzing and salting halfway through. Bake per the instructions or until the fries are crisp to your liking. Make sure to check frequently so the fries don't burn.
  4. Transfer the fries to a serving platter.
  5. Scoop cream cheese into a small dipping bowl.
  6. Spread pepper jelly on top of the cream cheese so it's completely covered.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. Make sure to spread the fries out in a single layer when baking or cooling. Crowding or piling them up traps steam and causes them to stick and not crisp evenly.
  • Don't mix the dipping sauce before serving. Don't mix the dipping sauce before serving for a more dramatic look. Let guests mix when they dip the fries or serve with a spoon for guests to stir.
