- Thinly slice the tomatoes, pat dry and sprinkle with salt.
- Place the tomato slices in a circle around the outside of the plate, leaving room for the burrata in the middle of the plate.
- Put the burrata in the middle of the plate and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the chopped basil all over the tomatoes and burrata and add a little more salt.
- Cut the burrata and serve!
Notes
*A large dinner-sized plate or round platter works best.
*If serving a smaller crowd, use two tomatoes and one ball of burrata; you can make this as small or large as you like.
*Serve by itself or with crusty bread.
