Easy Melon and Prosciutto Skewers with Mozzarella

These melon and proscuitto skewers are an easy, bite-sized party appetizer that require no cooking.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cantaloupe melon
  • 1 Container Mozzarella balls
  • 1 Package Prosciutto
  • 1 Bunch Basil
  • Balsamic Glaze
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)
  • Salt & Pepper (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Melon Baller
  • Cocktail picks, toothpicks or skewers
  • 1 Serving Platter

Instructions
 

  1. Scoop melon balls out of 1 cantaloupe using melon baller.
  2. Pull the basil leaves off the stems.
  3. Thread the melon balls, then a piece of proscuitto, then basil, then mozzarella balls onto a skewer.
  4. Place skewers on a platter and generously drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  5. Drizzle with EVOO and add a pinch of salt and a few cracks of black pepper if desired.

Notes

**Make sure to keep these skewers chilled until ready to serve. Enjoy!
