Cook Time 20 minutes
Servings: 10
Course: Appetizer
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 30 Club crackers about 1 sleeve
  • 1 pkg Bacon about 8-10 slices, cut to fit crackers
  • 1-2 tbsp Maple syrup or enough to evenly cover the bacon without overflowing
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • 11 x 17 Cookie sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Measuring spoon
  • Small prep bowl
  • Spoon for spreading
  • Serving Platter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the crackers in 3 rows of 10 crackers each on the baking sheet.
  3. Cut the bacon into pieces the size of a club cracker, about about 1.5 x 2.5 inches. Trim the sides to fit if necessary.
  4. Spoon the maple syrup onto each bacon-covered cracker, just enough to evenly cover the bacon.
  5. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked and the crackers are golden brown.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don't use too much maple syrup, or it will cause the syrup to run off the crackers and make a runny mess! Use just enough to cover each piece of bacon evenly.
  • Keep an eye on the crackers in the last few minutes to prevent them from burning.
