- On your cutting board, chop the sage or the fresh herb you're using.
- Place the goat cheese log, honey and the sage into the bowl of a food processor.
- Process on high speed until combined and creamy, about 3-4 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides.
- Transfer the cheese mixture from the food processor to a serving bowl.
- Smooth out the top with your spatula. Garnish with sliced almonds and a few pieces of grilled pear and serve with toasted crostini bread.
Notes
- If the mixture becomes too soft, I like to pop it in the refrigerator for a few minutes before serving. Be careful not to chill it so much that it gets stiff. The dip is best served at room temperature or slightly chilled.
- If the cheese mixture is too stiff, try adding just a touch of milk or olive oil to loosen it up. But be careful, it doesn't take much to make it too runny!
