My MISSION
Creating connections with friends througH food
Do you want to go from fearful host to friend connector like me?
Are you a busy mom who doesn’t have time to entertain but is craving adult connection? Are you an introvert and the thought of planning a get-together leaves you riddled with anxiety? Did you lose touch with friends during the pandemic and want to reconnect but don’t know where to start?
Are you just out of college or new to entertaining altogether? We’ve got you! Here you will learn how to ditch the anxiety and stress of hosting so that you can open yourself and your home up to friends, family, neighbors, coworkers to (re)build meaningful connections in a fun and easy way!

Meet Summer
Owner + reformed fearful hostess
For a long time, I was a single mom to a wonderful son (he’s 16 now!) and many times I felt isolated, overwhelmed, and lonely. I also felt like my house was a mess, I didn’t have time or money to cook for people, but I craved connection.
I also remember when I was just out of college and having fun, but didn’t think I had the budget to entertain friends. Add in being an introvert and it all felt impossible. But something inside of me still longed to create a community and build relationships.
Fast forward to Covid and any normalcy there was went out the window. But, I’m here to tell you that you can entertain friends on any budget. You can host a gathering even if you’re an introvert, can’t cook, don’t have the space or whatever excuse you tell yourself. We can build new relationships or re-connect ones that have drifted away, we just have to make the decision to go for it. Let’s do it together! Are you in?

My Values
Connections
Let’s face it, this world can be a lonely place and I believe creating connections and building community is the answer. That can feel hard but it doesn’t have to be.
Friends
Friends means family, coworkers, neighbors – anyone that you want to get to know, deepen your relationship with or share in the ups and downs of life.
Food
Food makes everything better! Whether you’re making it, buying it to serve, or going out with friends to get it, food innately brings people together.
